Dusty was a fullback and former international England rugby union player.

 

A legend as a rugby player, Dusty amassed a world record 7,337 points during his 18-year first class rugby career, the vast majority of which was spent at Leicester Tigers where he played nearly 400 games. He played for England for over ten years, between 1974 and 1984, gaining 25 caps.

He was also a county cricketer for Nottinghamshire, but in recent years Dusty has become renowned as one of the best rugby scouts around and joined the Northampton Saints in early 2010 as Recruitment and Development Manager.

 

Dusty was also a cricketer and a junior county tennis player.
